TAWAN means “shining sun” in Thai language and its rays can chase away the worries in your soul. As every living creature recovers under the sun’s rays, we want you to feel revitalizing warmth, pleasant atmosphere and fragrance of the faraway Orient which will return lost energy to you. Slowing down for a while can reduce stress. Our mission is to return lost energy and balance to your body and mind.
VISION
TAWAN was established in 2006 by Mrs Jiřina Forejtková with the idea to bring the art and traditions of faraway Asia to the heart of Europe and provide the perfect experience of Thai massage with the western quality of services.
SOUL
The soul of all our TAWAN salons is the founder and the owner Jiřina Forejtková. She devotes all her life to care for body, health and relaxation. She studied physiotherapy, worked in the Vinohrady hospital, ran a health spa centre and gym in the Forum Hotel. She is a keen golfer and leads an active life.
HEART
Our drive and heart is the fact that TAWAN is a family company. It includes the real family of Jiřina Forejtková, her son Michal Votruba and daughter Anna Forejtková, and our managers Jiří Krejčí, Jan Pickenhan and Tomáš Motal, our “almost” family :-). TAWAN represents an honest attitude, maximum effort to achieve perfection and responsibility for the highest quality of every service provided.
HANDS
In Thai families, massage skills are passed from generation to generation. It is an art, philosophy and an exceptional gift. In TAWAN you are only cared for by native Thai therapists who learned the skills in prestigious schools and who have more than five years of professional experience from many health spas all over the world. We personally test all our masseuses in TAWAN for you.
